So I finally got around to introducing Emma to HeroScape. I've been waiting, maybe a bit too long, to be sure she was ready for it, so that it would be a hit with her.Long story short, she loves it!
I gave her just the units from the RotV set to choose from, to keep things from getting too complicated, and gave her a couple hundred more points than me, to give her a leg up, so that I could play without holding back too much, and still giving her a fair chance. She was quick to grasp the flow of the game, and she won convincingly.
She did do a lot of girly things, like renaming Mimring "Sugar" and kissing her Samurai for luck. :)
Looking forward to a lot of renewed fun with this great game...
