I've only played this twice, once on each map, but there has been a minor run-away leader issue. Now, I know this is primarily a group-think thing, but I thought to discourage the group-think a little and add a small catch-up type mechanic, I might play around with adding some slip streaming.

First thought would just be - if you are on a straight (rectangle spaces) and another car is directly in front of the car you are moving, either 0 or 1 space away, the car gets a +1 to the played speed.

I think this might help cars catchup, as the only car that will never get this is the car in 1st, which in turn may make people think a little harder than just betting on the car in pole.

Any thoughts?
