I played Season 1 with my wife and we had a fantastic time. However, overall I would say the difficulty wasn't too high, I think we went 12-5 and many of the games we won weren't too difficult. I read later that some people recommended that if you play Season 1 have each person control 2 characters instead of 1 and play it like a 4 player game. This also lets you play with a greater variety of characters rather than just picking two each time (which depending on how it goes can be the same two buffed up characters for many months) at the cost of having to manage more information as you play.
Has anyone played Season 2 enough with 2 players to get a feel for how well it works with 1 character each, in particular as relates to the difficulty level? I gather from my limited reading so far that Season 2 seems to be a bit more difficult than Season 1 on average. Just curious if we should stick with controlling 1 character each or jump up to 2. You kind of don't get a second chance at these things...
Obviously no spoilers thanks!

My partner and I started Season 1 two player with two characters total.
We eventually moved to playing two characters each, and have finished the entirety of the season 2 campaign two player, playing two characters each. I definitely recommend playing with four total characters. Feel free to ask me any other questions.
