I would say the Dog cannot pick up keys, since they're inaccessible unless an explorer does something specific.
For hidden traitor Haunts, the turn order continues as normal, since the traitor's identity is unknown. After the Haunt starts and everything is set up, play continues with the player to the left of the haunt revealer starting their turn. For this Haunt, there are no monsters to worry about.
And Sverre, while I would normally agree that, based on the rules alone, the werewolf haunt is very much in favor of the traitor, I have been on the losing end of that haunt no fewer than THREE times as traitor.
