Bob: Fistful of Lead. Easy rules, to the point where I've ran it at conventions and have 6-10 people playing within five minutes of explaining the rules. They're cheap, too. $8 or so for the pdf.

WWZ...great book, even for those who don't like zombies. The movie isn't the book, but then again, how could it be? The way the book is written, it can't be made directly into a movie. However, I think that the movie gives a different 'branch' to a now much-trodden path. Making them act like ants (the climbing on one another to build a 'ladder' part) or fish (how they react to seeing a living person) is genius. As for the plot, I can't say. The guys I know that have seen it say it's a good summer flick. Lots of action, maybe a bit light on plot. Isn't that Hollywood in general nowadays?

My current projects:

25-28mm:
1) Making 3D terrain for sci-fi using foam board, industrial terrain tiles from http://www.toposolitario.com and self-stick vinyl floor tiles.
2) Finishing the cowboys in my collection.

6-10mm:
1) Taking the buildings off a Hot Wheels City set and converting them to use with BattleTech.
2) Perhaps, if there's time, painting some Warmaster stuff...

20mm: Finishing my gladiators-in-a-tin project.

Not much, right?
