Agreed, you are overreacting. You got one of the first five wins on the board, and subsequent wins should be very hard to come by until everyone else has a win to their name. That bonus Red Star Token is there for a reason, and it makes a big difference. Anyway, I'd say the early games are a prelude to opening the "Ninth Minor City Placed" packet.

The only circumstance that would make me mad is if one player got an inordinate number of early wins (say 3 out of 5), when the most valuable rewards are earned, AND the other players failed to make an effort to stop them. It could still happen with good players, of course, and it wouldn't ruin the board. But if the other players were just letting the leader run away with the wins, that would strike me as bad play.

You have three winners in three games; all is well. You are still in the middle of the opening act. I can tell you this: this game encourages adaptivity and creativity. "There is a fine line between brilliant and stupid."

You will not win the same way twice.
