I remember, that when I was a Youth - in the 80ies that is - we played RISIKO (Risk) from Parker many times. I remember that both Attacker AND Defender were able to roll up to 3 dice.
Am I right?
When did the 3rd defending dice dissappear?
Who is actually favored by this maximum-2-defending-dice rule?
I also remember, that our RISIKO had a table with ever increasing numbers of Reinforcements, when handing in a set of 3 equal cards
(something like: 1st set: 2 Armies, 2nd set: 4 armies, 3rd set: 7 armies...)
In my opinion this was a nice rule, because it was attractive to hand in those sets later - to get mor armies, but it was a risk, because when waiting too long, there might me hardly any survivors to be reinforced...
Do I remeber correctly? When was thismchanged and why?
