A Hearty Hello.

I see I missed the Scotch tasting; proper thing. I can't really warm up to the taste of Scotch and it is just as well you never wasted any of that expensive paint-thinner on me. :)

Hope all is well with the League. I am coming to the end of a very busy period with family and friends. Seems like we started a dull roar of fun and frivolity in August and it is just slowing down now. No complaints, other than I am more sparse than usual around some of my favourite Internet watering holes. I removed myself from about a half dozen websites and online communities this past while. I am pretty well putting all of my Internet eggs in the BGG Community Basket. I have less time to spend online these days and what I have goes to a couple of websites I run along with BGG. Hopefully, I will contribute a wee bit more to the conversation in the days ahead. (Mind you, every time I pop my head in here I think I say that).

Kathy and I hung a European Map on the dining room wall the other day. We did this in order to start planning our Spring trip as we identify various places we wish to visit and activities we wish to do. Our daughter in Berlin is quite enjoying her move to Europe and is settling in quite nicely. Excitement is starting to build in our house for the trip this Spring.

On that note, if one of the squires would be so kind to bring me a Crown Royal Black with ice and Canada Dry Ginger Ale, I would be most indebted.

Cheers Lads & Lasses of the League!

if you decide to spend time in Hamburg, then drop me a line. :)

Cheers,
Arne
