#1) When you flip tiles if there's a action you can do, and it reveals a event or a omen, do you still have a chance to take a opportunity to do the action in the room or move from it?

Actions yes, moves no. (And something I missed for years: this applies to any time you draw a card, not just when exploring a new room.) From the first ed FAQ (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=ah/faqs/hoth):

You must stop moving when you draw a card, but can you do other things?

Yes, you can do other things after drawing a card; you just can't move. For example, on the turn you discover the vault (and draw an event card), you can also try to open the vault.

#2) In the #47 Haunt with the tenticles, we were not clear on how much the tenticles can impede the hero's movements.

47 is the giant snake... are you thinking 23? Either way, the Traitor's Tome says which tokens impede movement, and I'll explain how that works in my answer to question #4.

#3) Does a transfer, or pick up of a dropped item, take a move?

No. But there is a limit to how often an item can be transferred/used in one round, to keep the heroes from passing one weapon around and all using it to attack.

#4) While we are on the topic, how does speed work in said game?

The game doesn't use the term "movement points", but it's easiest to think of it that way. Explorers get a number of movement points equal to their Speed. (If their Speed increases or decreases during their turn, they'll gain or lose MP and end their move if their speed drops below what they've already spent) Monsters roll at the start of the monster turn- roll a number of dice equal to their Speed for each type of monster, and that's the number of MP they all get.

It costs 1 MP to move to an adjacent room, up or down stairs, or through the Secret Stairs or Secret Passage. Leaving a room with enemy explorers or monsters costs 1 extra MP per explorer or monster. Dropping through the Collapsed Room, Gallery, or Coal Chute is free. (I'd have to double-check the rules on Secret Slide and Wall Switch)

However, an explorer or monster can always move one space on their turn, even if doing so would cost more MP than they had or if a monster rolled 0.
