Bonuses may be easier to get on this board but I dont think they will be any easier to keep.Europe has more borders to defend now, the North American Continent used to have a mere 3 borders, the new continents there now have as many, if not more than that. The new Asian continents all have multiple borders to defend.
And in most of my games, places like middle east and india were constantly changing hands, I expect this even more now there is a bonus attached.
