(This post will contain some spoilers for the "sign the board twice" packet. However, the mere existence of Mission cards is mentioned on page 13 of the Risk Legacy rulebook, so no complaining about the thread title.
)Our group has now played 9 games, with the same 5 people. We opened the "sign the board twice" packet at the end of game 3, and since then, I think one player has successfully completed a mission. If memory serves it was either "conquer all territories in a continent" or "conquer 9+ territories".
Does this match up with other peoples' experience? The Missions seem to be of wildly different difficulties, and we've found that it's just easier to go after HQs or buy red stars. Still, it feels like something that should be happening more often.
Also: we haven't even had the World Capitol Mission come up yet. We have enough valuable territories now that we seem to actually have a reasonable shot at completing that one, too.
