We play old boards once in awhile. But our group is on our 3rd board. We don't play this as often as we did when we first got it, that first feeling of opening everything will never be reproduced on a board that we know some of the surprises...However we have played a 2 board game and are planning another. That game took 3 hours to complete but we also had extra players.
And the house rule we used after 15 wins was that the winner could select some appropriate sticker to place on a faction card that wasn't completely filled out yet. Since after 3 boards we still haven't filled out each faction this seems to keep things a little more interesting.
My advice? Don't let the thought of '15 plays only' deter you from the awesome experience that is this game!
