I'd like to get an idea of what everyone here would think about getting a Kickstarter going to create a full expansion for Risk Legacy?I've spoken with Hasbro and first and foremost they stated they have ZERO plans to expand Risk Legacy now or in the future. They have also stated that Risk Legacy is covered by Intellectual Property and that they do not allow expansions of their products. (Something I'm assuming is a cookie cutter reply from a PR Rep since there is the German Card expansion...)
Although I don't know much of IP, I'm wondering if the Kickstarter was setup to be non-profit would that be allowed legal use of IP...
Essentially I'd like to get a team together from here to collaborate in creating expansion races, cards and possibly secondary maps and more...
What do you all think? Is it a worth while idea to create high quality pieces and expansions?
