[o]So I finally finished the game and now I'm really wishing I hadn't. We got dicked over by winning October but not completing the search for Patient Zero, so we lost two hundred full fucking points even though we completed all the other searches just fine. This seems like a really bad choice, both because it makes playing July-October feel worthless and because there is basically no warning. It's just surprise, you didn't lose October on purpose because completing the search would have been impossible with the cards you drew? Enjoy this really harsh penalty that would have been the same if you never did a search at all!
Seriously, if even one reviewer had pointed out that the ending sucks, I probably never would have bought this game. That was like Mass Effect 3 levels of "your choices don't matter and we'll deus ex machina them for you". But much like that game, reviewers are afraid to spoil anything, so I had to go in blind and now I'm wishing I hadn't finished the game at all. What an unsatisfying way for things to end...[/o]
