Thanks for your feedback. I haven't done much with miniatures and currently do not even own any. Heroscape looked like a good way to get into it. Looking on ebay now to see if I can get a master set for a decent price.
Definitely get the ROTV master set if you can. Failing that, just get Songs and buy some cheap kids' figure set.
