Superficially, I think the factions separate the figures by what D&D players used to call "alignment" without coming right out and saying it. Utgar is chaotic evil (or at least evil) while Jandar is Lawful good, etc. No need to keep your armies purified. Use the figures that work best together, especially in terms of their synergies. The factions just stand to show what kind of character is maintained by each figure. The rules don't mandate anything besides point limitations for joining different figures into armies. So, I say mix 'em up!↧
