There are a few units that specifically mention the factions, but for the most part it's not significant. The units which specifically mention each other, such as Gladiotrons and Blastotrons, are always in the same faction.I agree that heroscapers.com is an information overload. I mostly appreciated the ratings that have been given to each unit, the article on the different types of units (bread and butter, sharks, cleanup, etc.) and the Codex magazine.
