Same for us: It has ruined the surprise of the other package this way and it was the largest and best surprise imo so it likely impacts the perception of the product greatly beyond stalling the ongoing game creating confusion and idle time while players figure out the issue and make the decision to open the other box too.
Its strange to see such a quality issue: the game is now old I guess and maybe production quality checks werent that good yet at the time. hopefully it got fixed with later prints.
