So, this may be a translation issues but, a ZONE is the colour groupings on the map. A SPACE on the other hand, is a single circular placement on the map, whenever you move you're character you are moving a number of "Spaces". So, momentous shift is a card that increases in value if at the start of the current turn, the fighter playing this card was in a different space than the space(circle) they currently are in.for visual:
1 2 3 4
O--O--O--O
If my turn starts as Ms Marvel and I'm in the 1 space and the opponent is in the 3 space, I can attack them from up to one space away meaning I can attack them when normal melee characters can only attack the 2 space. If I attack them with momentous shift and we reveal, the card would still only be a 3 because I started this turn in the 1 space and am currently in the same space I started in. Let's say however that I maneuver around the board somehow and land myself on the 4 space and THEN attack the opponent in 3, in that case momentous shift would be a 5 as I started the turn on the 1 space and the 4 space is a different space than the 1 space. All this to say, in short, if you started your turn in X space and then during your turn you attack, the card becomes a 5 so long as the space you're in is not the same space as X.
little bit of a long-winded explanation but thought i'd be thorough as this isn't a card that confuses most people so I wanted to be extra clear when explaining it especially if there is some sort of translation issue too.
Enjoy playing the greatest game ever made!
