I'll jump on the "just checking in" and "posting about events" bandwagon...I just ran a 34 player tournament at The Family Game Store in Savage, Maryland. Heroscape reports that reports of its death are premature & all that... :devil:

We had plenty of first time attendees, young and old, and so many kids that I set aside some of the prize support for an under-13 "Junior" division.
I came in 2d, my kid came in 5th; we pooled our prize money and bought Descent 2.0, which we're really enjoying.
