I'm still enjoying the game, but it's becoming too easy.
I specially dislike the fact that the Elder One can be beaten so easily, in so few turns!
It should be next to impossible to beat an Elder One (or, at least, it should feel like an "accomplishable nightmare").
A game as an example:
It's my first game against Azathoth I'm playing with 2 investigators from S3: Leon and Stella (at the moment of the Elder One summoning both are in the same space. Leon's skills are Show-off at level 3 and Marksman at 3. Stella's skills are Chemical explosives at level 3 and marksman at 3. Episode gained skills are: Arcane Mastery, Brawling and Stealth. We also have other useful items/weapons, all of these Discovery Cards well distributed among both investigators.
This time I'm playing with 1 Unknown Monster (Fire Vampire). I still haven't even tried the Relics (they surely make the game even easier!).
Leon defeats stage 2 using 2 attacks, then Azathoth is summoned at a gate 2 spaces away, so Leon uses his 3rd action and attacks Azathoth without even moving, with an insane amount of dice (6 green) and inflicted 7 wounds on Azathoth. Stella's turn: she basically blasts out Azathoth's stage 3, again without even moving. Next Leon's turn: totally easy win.
The Progression Token was in the 2nd red space (btw, I'm yet to be defeated by it advancing to the last space on the track: it just never happens!).
The worst thing is that very similar situations have happened to me playing against different Elder Ones.
The Elder One should be so much threatening!
Have someone tried something like giving all Elder Ones the same permanent ability that the Unnamable (S3 monster) has? ("Cannot be wounded while there is another enemy in the same space").
Or giving all monsters/cultists a permanent Elder One protection ability (like guard in Marvel Champions), so the Elder One cannot be targeted in spaces having enemies?
Or something like making the Elder One's health, printed in all its stages, a variable number according to the number of investigators? (e.g. 12 per investigator, although I don't see this working for games with more than 2 investigators.).
Or... Something else?

For the record, I found this in an old thread:
(and yes, I'm playing correctly)
1) When the Elder One advances, follow the instructions on ALL revealed Elder One cards and the scenario card.
2) When the Elder One advances to the first red space, summon the Elder One and reveal the Stage 2 card. Remember, you're now following the Elder One Advances instructions on both Stage 1 and 2 cards.
3) When the Elder One takes enough wounds to defeat a Stage, reveal the next Stage card and then follow the instructions on ALL revealed Stage cards (and the scenario card).
4) Until the ritual has been disrupted, you cannot deal any damage to the Elder One.
5) While on the board, the Elder One rolls ALL of the dice listed on ALL of the revealed Stage cards.
6) Once the ritual is disrupted, you must defeat EACH revealed stage card, not just one.
7) If the Elder One advances to the last space on the track, you lose.
8) You cannot rest in a space with enemies.
9) You cannot draw a Discovery card in a space with enemies.
10) When you move, any enemies in a space you left come with you.
11) Unless otherwise specified, Stealth allows you to leave 1 enemy behind. The rest still follow you.
12) If you cannot gain more Stress, you cannot gain Discovery cards that require you to gain Stress.
13) If your marker reaches the Skull and Crossbones icon on either Wounds or Sanity, your Investigator is defeated.
14) If an Investigator is defeated BEFORE the Elder One is on the board, you lose the game.
15) Whenever your Sanity marker reaches a red space, your Insanity card activates.
16) When there are 3 cards with the Summoning symbol in the Mythos discard pile, the Elder One advances and all discarded Mythos cards are shuffled into the Mythos deck.

I've been enjoying the game so much, but the experience of my last games, where defeating Old Ones has felt like if I were punching over a sack of puppies... Well, it's been frustrating.
Any suggestions???
