Well, as I said, if you're familiar with the Unmatched "meta," on the one hand, it makes sense to shuffle, but, on the other hand, it goes against the prior written rules clarification that you should implement card effects in a literal manner (e.g., if the card effect says to discard the top card of the opponent's deck and your opponent has no cards left in their deck, nothing happens, so therefore if a card effect just says to search and doesn't mention shuffling, you wouldn't shuffle). More broadly, it also violates the "supra meta" rule interpretation principle of "expressio unius est exclusio alterius" ("the expression of one thing is the exclusion of the other"), i.e., if one card says "search the deck, then shuffle," and another card just says, "search the deck," the logical implication is that the latter card doesn't require you to shuffle the deck.
