My goal is to fit all of a game into a single cube in my Kallax Ikea shelving. I did it for Zombicide Undead or Alive and Marvel Zombies. I also did it with Cthulhu Death May Die (all current content).

The main tool is a clear plastic three drawer system I get at Target: https://www.target.com/p/all-purpose-3-drawer-storage-clear-...

One of those drawers can hold 144 investigators. As of now, we have 98 and 10 animals. That means I can fit in all currently released ones in one shelf with extra space for some monsters - which I'll need as we have nearly 200 monsters to fit into the shelving as well - many of which have larger bases. I'll place them in alphabetically, but many monsters will need to be laid down, etc...

All of the tiles will transition into a single box from the game (along with rule sets, dice and tokens in little baggies labeled for the episode or Elder One). If you use the tallest box it can all fit - and the box can live on top of the shelving unit from Target with a little room to spare. Well, all of the regularly used tiles go into a box that sits in front of the Target shelving unit (see below) and some tiles live with their investigator in the investigator tray. The investigator dashboards live on top of the tile box.

The Elder ones are on another thin vertical shelf that sits in front of the target shelf. This allows me to show the 11 of them off a bit (and I have a few extra of the bigger monsters on the shelf, too). All the cards for the game are in a series of gaming boxes with dividers by episode / elder one / etc... This was a pain to organize.

HOWEVER, I pulled it apart and began to re-sort it into two cubes using two of those shelves. Primarily, I wanted to reduce the compaction as it made setup take too long to have things organized to optimize space instead of convenience. Second, in ~18 months I'll have more coming and I might as well set the stage for them now.

I am considering one thing that could remove the need to store the dashboards in the future as there are a lot of them and they take up a lot of space... Digital Dashboards. I have an excel document right now that allows me to select a character from a dropdown list and it then populates their dashboard (without character art) on a single screen. It would be very convenient to just use a tablet rather than hunt down the dashboards. However, as my most common style of play is solo with 3 characters, 3 screens is not practical. Further, it is all function and no pizzazz right now ... and I have not put in *all* the investigators.
