I'd say season 3 & 4 have better quality miniatures then season 1 & 2. Season 3, 4 & the unspeakable box also includes more content then it's predecessors. As for costs, I was very impressed with how little the price had increased in the last campaign considering how high inflation has been since 2019, if anything it's better value for money.
Obviously quality is subjective but if you have any proof on the other points I'd be interested to see it.
