It always surprises me that people willingly choose to solo games which have clearly been designed with multiplayer in mind.

We´re in the middle of a 4-player campaign right now and at least half the fun is discussing strategy to optimise actions. And the fact that everyone is able to contribute to the same goal is what makes a hard earned win so satisfying in the end. Plus there are people to high five if you do!

Curious to hear what you think of the game now that you´re playing it 2-player. How does it compare to your solo experience?

This is my third full play of the game.

The first was for this review, which was written in January 2021 - so I was playing it at the end of 2020, when COVID made it difficult (if not impossible) to get together with my gaming group.

The second was with my gaming group, after we were all vaxxed and it was safe to do so.

The third is right now with my wife! And all three times have been quite fun. I liked playing it solo because it was just whenever I felt like it, but I do enjoy sussing out the puzzle of each play with my partner and the high fives that come with that!
