Yeah - the animal allies seem fun, although I remember at the time they were announced people (rightfully in my opinion) felt they didn't really fit the theme of the game, and were overpriced for what they were. Plus, I think the last thing we need is more plastic figures crowding a space 😬
Still, I'm excited to have them come with the rest of the game - I backed the full pledge, so may as well give them a go!
Are there any game mechanics that you feel haven't been buffed in some way by the relics? Just thinking about possibilities for future relics. With the investigator skills it often seems that trading, and stopping extra wounds/sanity (separate to toughness) are underrepresented, although I'm aware there's a couple of new stretch goal ones that address this. Still, maybe those mechanics could benefit from relics in future?
