I've never played Unmatched. From reading the rules in the TMNT Kickstarter standard competitive play is normally 1-v-1. But can be up to 4 player free-for-all or 2-v-2.It is my understanding that the only characters that will count as "heroes" with an action deck for standard competitive play are Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, Shredder, and Krang.
This means that a standard competitive game will only be combinations of these heroes. You can have Leo fight Raph. You can have a free for all of all four turtles. You can have team play between two turtles vs. Shredder and Krang. Etc.
But you can not have a competitive match between all four turtles on one side vs. Shredder on the other.
Is this all correct?
About minions.
Minions are tied to specific heroes and are always part of the fight if you include the hero. You can not mix and match minions and heroes. If you want to play Casey Jones you have to play Raph. And April O'Neil will always be there if you play Michelangelo.
Correct so far?
I have no idea how the bad-guy minions fit in to this. When do Baxter Stockman or Bebop and Rocksteady come into play? Are they tied to Shredder or Krang or are they only part of Adventure mode?
About Adventure mode.
There are only two different bad-guys in adventure mode. Shredder or Krang. But any combo of heroes can fight them. So if I'm playing an adventure against the Shredder I can have three turtles team up with Krang. Correct?
About Allies and Henchmen.
These are only cards. I'm not going to get a Muckman/Joe Eyeball or Triceraton mini to paint. Correct?
