Capitalism. And nothing is wrong with that. RG is in business, in large part, to make money. They have to make money if they are going to be a business. Added cost should be passed on to the consumer. The company gets more customers, but that also means the company needs more employees. More overhead. More everything to satisfy the demand their products are creating. Those employees need to take care of their families. So yeah, increased cost is passed on to the consumer, as it should be. If you see a game with a big expensive IP that doesn't add cost to that product versus their non-IP line, then that likely means they are over-charging for their non-IP line. They make so much profit from that, it doesn't hurt to not make as much profit off the IP stuff. Like the furniture store that marks their prices up 30% a week or two before having a BIG SALE of 20% off the marked price. You think you get a deal, but they are making profit. I could be wrong, but that's my take on it.
