For sure. But the quests tell you what they do if you fail them. And it's a month 5 quest; they get more punishing as the game goes on.

I was finding it tough to get all of the magic advantage that was required to complete the quest

Did you include wild advantages? My brain still fights me on that one. I have to grind the gears a little every time.

I did indeed! No other items were coming up with magic advantages.

Any there any recommendations for mail goals, adversaries, and foes?

At that point, I would have arranged a coordinated shopping spree.

One advantage is simple, Brass Talisman. From there you only need 2 magic or wild advantages. Buy some useful treasures and cycle through the market. There are lots of cards that either confer magic or wild advantages or allow you to apply advantages in other ways, such as fulfilling quests from other spaces (where you could apply your home terrain advantage).

Also, if you are ever playing with the siege trees, make sure that someone is playing the warden with the forrest advantages, as you can easily make any non-wastelnd space into a forrest.

The total requirement was 5. I managed to get 4, but then I was too late. I'll give another quest a go next time.
