Alright, thanks for the input everyone. I think we'll replay the prologue and I think I have an idea of how we can make a better start by using everyone's abilities more efficiently. Maybe it makes sense for the character who can easily give away cards and the character who needs 1 less card to build a team to stick together for the first 2 turns or so. If the former can provide the latter with 2 cards for 2 turns in succession for example, he can really set him up to be able to build a team quickly, and the team can then help keeping the number of agents under control later in the game. True enough, but I find the theme of seasons 1 and 2 rather dry and serious, while the espionage theme and the Cold War setting have much more appeal to me.
