- I think you underestimate the logistics of trying to coordinate a Kickstarter of this size. If they delayed shipping some pieces to try and coordinate, there'd be complaints about that. Not to mention the cost of storing those held pieces.

- R'lyeh Rising: There are lots of painters out there who I'm sure appreciated getting it earlier than the base.

- There is nothing implied in Kickstarter about who is getting their copy before anyone else.

- Again, retailers are backers, too. Or should CMON try and coordinate everyone on the planets getting it on the same day?

- Complaining about late Kickstarters is like spitting in the wind. Pointless. There are many that never deliver. Would you prefer that?

- Additional shipping charges are sadly much more common in today's Kickstarter. You just need to be prepared for that possibility. Again, CMON is not alone here.

- Chinese New Year: Um, this is a real thing, you know that, right? Publishers are always cognizant of this.

- As far as answering questions via email, long gone are the days of that kind of customer service. There are exceptions - Dan Hallagan, the designer of Obsession is one that springs to mind with tip-top customer service. Again, CMON isn't alone. The best you can hope for is that they address concerns in their updates.

Not trying to be the white knight for CMON here, but their products have given me a LOT of enjoyment over the years and I'll deal with all of these issues if it means eventually getting one of their quality products. If it's too much for you, then you can speak with the most powerful tool that exists in business - your wallet.
