I play Anno Domini 1666 fairly regularly. But I also enjoy UnMatched enough to have just about everything. What I’d like to see: A Three Musketeers set. But it would be unusual.

It would have four decks, four figures, four health dials, and four sidekick counters. One of each for each character. Each deck would be subtly marked with a number of cards labeled Hero and the remainder marked Sidekick.

The idea is that, if you wanted, you could play each as a standalone hero using all the cards in their deck. Or you could pick one to be the main hero and the others be his sidekicks. In that case, for the hero, all his cards marked Hero go into the play deck. Then a number of Sidekick cards are drawn from each other deck to bring the total number to scratch.

For example: each deck would have, say, 31 cards. In each deck, 10 would have the word Hero and 21 would have the word Sidekick. If D’Artagnan is the Hero, take all of his Hero cards, discard his Sidekick cards, and draw 7 Sidekick cards each from the decks of Athos, Portos, and Aramis. In play, use the D’Artagnan figure and the sidekick counters for the other Musketeers.

For the health dials, each character would have three starting points: the highest number if he is the sole hero of his deck. A lower number if he is the main hero of an amalgamated deck. And an even lower number if they are a sidekick in an amalgamated deck. Perhaps 18 - 12 - 4, for example.
