Obligatory Shopping Post

Yep, I said in yesterday's post that Mom and I went grocery shopping... and that we made a few extra stops. And so, here's the report!

First up:

Bucatini!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ocean State Job Lots was a veritable treasure trove of fun groceries on the cheap. (We went in for coffee and left with coffee, spices, baking supplies, and bucatini too!).

Then, we decided to see what Ollies had on offer: It was a bust for toiletries and groceries, but it was fun to window shop their games' section :D :

Lots of Dragonlance: Warriors of Krynn. $9.99. I didn't bite.

XenoShyft: Dreadmire was still on the shelf.

Monopoly: Beast Wars Transformers was new, so was Ender's Game: Battle School. Vs and Rick and Morty: Total Rickall Card Game had been here over the holidays.

Lots and lots of Monopoly: Marvel Studios' Black Panther – Wakanda Forever Edition and Monopoly Travel World Tour. Not interested.

Tonari
was unexpected. But I didn't think Mom would like it.

was hilarious.

I'll admit to being tempted by ClipCut Parks. I've seen Orc-lympics at Ollies before. Amoeba was new. And I didn't recall Killer Party: Kiss of Death.

Most Wanted looked like campy fun. Carpool Karaoke Game was a laughable no.

Neither of us really understand Crypto Cash. Hard pass.

Visitor in Blackwood Grove was still on the shelf. No change since the holidays.

Pretty LOTR puzzles were aplenty.

My precious?

Fumbling Ferrets caught my eye.

I contemplated Anachronism.

Sonar was available.

Ghostbusters: The Card Game too.

Wonder Woman: Challenge of the Amazons was still here. If I were a bigger DC fan, I'd have probably picked it up by now.

I spotted a Knizia that I hadn't heard of before: Scary Tales: Snow White vs. The Giant.

Nightfall: Martial Law looked interesting.

We passed on Evolution: The Beginning again. But Mom likes the art... so it might join our collection in the not-so-distant-future.

Ultimately, we purchased only two things in Ollies: discounted orange slices (yum!) and The Towers of Arkhanos! Neither was on our shopping list, but those weren't too bad for impulse buys :D.

That about sums up our weekend. How was yours? Any special outings?

Happy Sunday and happy playing!

P.S.
Happy Cinco de Mayo/May Day/Free Comic Book Day for those celebrating today!
