This game does have a slight issue with a rather involved post-game procedure. I've found that people - especially non-hobbyists - tend to see the end of the final round as being "done", there's points to be quickly tallied, a winner to be proclaimed, that's it, let's put the game away and do something else. This game expects from people to do a series of steps, most of them AFTER a winner is known... and quite a lot of these steps introduce new rules, components and mechanics at what is for possibly the worst possible time, i.e. when many players are not only tired but have also mentally moved on to other things. I think it's no small wonder we see a lot of threads where folks completely miss an important part of the experience, it's simply hard to stay focused and invested at the tail-end of a game session. :)↧
