I figured that with an adaptor piece that allows you to make one of the map tiles going INTO the arena an OUT, which then begins the regular race route. Then you have two road sections to start out on, leading into the arena, and then to the main road. That would allow players to spread out a bit at the start.


I'm honestly very excited to see the homebrew nonsense that comes about because of that piece of kit.
