Folded Space Insert - Again, I'm a little torn on this one. I like Folded Space inserts, and it might be a great way to organize on the table. The included Max Chrome insert is REALLY good though. And I think that with the free box extender, the new expansion content in it's own tray will work fine. It's in the cart at the moment, but don't know that it'll stay there.

doh! I didn't notice any wording that the expansion only reward included a free box extender. I already have Maximum Chrome, so assuming I didn't need to add in the folded space insert?

I had the same question. Here is what the Kickstarter FAQ says about the box extender vs. the Folded Space insert:

We are offering a "box extender" as a free add-on that you can get in the pledge manager after the campaign is over. The box extender is a cardboard rectangle that is taller than the height of the box. You put it on the inside edge of the bottom box. Then, you can put the insert from Carnival of Chaos directly on top of the other inserts. When you put the box top back on, it sits on the extender, so the lid does not sit flush with the box bottom, but it will store everything neatly.

Alternatively, you can get the Folded Space insert as a paid add-on. This is a complete replacement for the Maximum Chrome and Carnival of Chaos inserts. It will fit all of the content in the regular box space, so the box top will sit flush with no lid lift. It has some other nice features, including images showing which components go where and individual car crew trays to facilitate setup.

You do NOT need both solutions. Choose the one that works best for you.
