One thing I am thinking of doing [o]instead of using individual stickers/bits of card with tac, is making all track beds pre made in all the different sizes. For example, each company will have a strip of card with 6 company coloured track bed sections so when a player claims a 6 train route, they just grab their 6 trackbed strip and place it down with a little blu-tac, same with all the other combinations of track bed route sizes. I will probably make slightly curved ones for the curved tracks too.[/o]
