I had a similar experience, and while it sucked to not be able to finish with the SAME group, my new group jumped in and helped finish it up without much catching up required.Sure they didn't get to CHOOSE the items that came up in previous games, but we gave them the TL:DR on the story thus far, and they happily finished out the remaining 7 chapters. Still getting to see it through to the end, and then once complete we have a completely custom copy of Betrayal that we can keep playing.
