My partner and I have been using the same version of Ticket to Ride Legacy to the West, playing the campaign version three times (we're about to finish the third campaign). Here's what we've done to be able to play it multiple times.

Good to know:
- This guide is based on not having used the various components that prevent playing the campaign version multiple times. However, it can also be used by those who have done so, but some adjustments may need to be made.
- We know we can play a completely different version of the game (1901), even if we can't play the campaign. We also know many believe that a Legacy game should only be played once, and that we should just enjoy the experience. Unfortunately, we disagree.

Warning:
- This post contains lots of spoilers for the game!
- It's all or nothing: If you click on the black text, all the text (and spoilers) becomes visible.

Goal:
To be able to play large parts of the campaign section of Ticket to Ride Legacy of the West multiple times. First and foremost, a big thank you to [username=maddes_b], who did a lot of the work.

[o]Preparations:
Preparing all the materials and such in advance takes some time (the cutting is what takes longest). I still recommend getting as much ready beforehand, as it will save time when playing the game.

STEP 1:
Print out this document (at least up to page 17). This is a somewhat adapted and updated document from [username=maddes_b] original documents and files which you can find here. Therefore, [username=maddes_b] should of course get a lot of the credit (and a huge thank you) for the original document. We use this document instead of punching some of the cards.

STEP 2:
Scan, print, laminate, and cut out
Unfortunately, I haven't sorted and organized the scanned documents, otherwise, I would have included them here. You'll need to scan them yourself, but this is what we have scanned, copied, laminated, and cut out:
- Track/route stickers (available here thanks to [username=maddes_b]) *
- Rule stickers
- Company and big city stickers (see picture)
- Circus trains stickers (available find here thanks to [username=maddes_b]) **
- Searching for a Treasure (see picture)
- The rulebook, available online (doesn't need to be laminated, but should be printed on sturdy paper)

In addition, I copied many of the bank slips (without laminating them).

*To more easily place track stickers during the game, and to keep track of how many we need for each game, I printed and laminated the original track stickers card (see photo under). I also recommend printing extra as some can get damaged, lost, etc.

All the coloured routes in the picture is with laminated "stickers" attached with tack-it (see step 4):

For almost all the new areas added, you will get 3 cards with trackstickers (7 x of each colour). To easily add the correct amount, we attached them to a laminated version of the original cards as seen in the picture).

** As you can see in the document, there should be more circus train stickers the more players there are. We have printed so that we always have 4 "packs" available. I just put these in a sleeve and stuck a label on the sleeve indicating how many players it's for. To do this we had to print out and laminate 3-4 of the circus stickers.

STEP 3:
Envelopes for office, vault, and area storage
To increase the durability of the game, we laminated all cards, original stickers, etc. (it required a looooot of sleeves). Because of this, the original box for the office and vault becomes too small quite quickly. To solve this, we just used A5 envelopes. We also used A5 envelopes to store cards and materials for the different areas (see picture below). The place names with a checklist that you can see in the picture are in the document in step 1 (p. 20-22).

During the Game:
STEP 4:
In addition to using everything we prepared in the preparations, we used tack-it (adhesive putty). I also attach the laminated rule stickers with tack-it to the copied rulebook. This way, we can easily remove and add rules. I gave a small amount to every player.

P.S: You don't need much tack-it to make it stick, and if you press it down a little bit on the game board, it should flatten so the trains can be put on top.

Here you see how nice and neet it looks when laminated and put on with tack-it:

STEP 5:
Event cards, postcards, and employee cards we punch during the game. Routes we punch after the game. All punching is done in the document from point 1.

Something that won't work (the same) after the first campaign
So far there is one thing that won't work the same again:

- Hunting/searching for Mama O'Connell: At the end of the campaign, you can hunt and arrest Mama O'Connell. If no player finds her, it works as new other times. But when you know where she is (with you or someone else finding her), you know where she is. My partner and I agreed that when we play with others, they can still hunt for her and get the points - but we cannot. When we play the campaign now for the third time, we just drop this part (since my partner found her in the second campaign game). [/o]

Hope this was helpful to some of you! If you have any questions, please ask!
