In an effort to consolidate some of the information into one place, I'm attempting to keep this post up to date until we get a more official source from the TtR Trio, themselves. This is very much a work in progress and will try to be updated as new information comes to light. This is not intended to just be a place to rewrite all the rules, only for clarifications. All information is categorized by the box it comes in or the year.Errata
Open Range - [o]Dead Man's Gulch is being updated to include a fourth punch box. In addition to any punch that your group might give for "I found Dead Man's Gulch!," you should also punch the card at the end of each game (meaning the robber has a maximum lifespan of 4 games, regardless of how often the event is drawn)[/o]
After 1877 - [o]The Financier employee may only be used to pay for up to two of the train cards in a route, paying either $2 or $4 as a replacement for one or two cards, respectively. This payment must happen before any company bonuses.[/o]
FAQ
What do I write in the spaces next to the years on the company boxes?
These spaces were from an earlier draft of the game and just never got removed. There is no game mechanic related to those spaces and you can write (or not write) whatever you wish. Some groups are writing the date they played that year or simply just checking it off.
Conductor's Toolbox - [o]What do I do with this awesome new hole punch I just got?[/o]
[o]Did you make sure you got everything out of that box? There should be rules stickers in there, too, on how to punch tickets and retire them.[/o]
[o]Do I punch the tickets right now? I already passed the Game End step where I had to put the sticker...[/o]
[o]Yup! You start punching completed tickets right away (that's why it told you not to clean up yet). Make sure to retire any ticket that only had one hole punch of your color right now. AND make sure you only take ONE postcard per player that retired one, regardless of how many retired tickets that player might have had.[/o]
