It's sad, because the game itself was pretty good. Most people objected to the little arrows instead of army figures, but the game itself played great.
I wish they would get it right. There is a place for the classic game, but there is also a market for the revised game so long as it uses updated figures for the pieces.
They should use little plastic tanks, cannons, and modern infantry for game figures and keep all the great new rules.
But, I think the suits at Hasbro have decided to kill the experiment. It is a shame because Rob Daviau did a really good job and the game was a real winner.
