I've been a big Lovecraft-game fan for years, and have been thinking about dipping my toe into Cthulhu: Death May Die. The degree of choice is bewildering, though. I've been reading stuff online for Fear of the Unknown, and that added to the confusion -- the pages variously list FotU as a "standalone game," a "season," and a "new set of rules." So which is it? Should I wait for FotU to come out because the new rules will make the previous version(s) obsolete? Maybe more to the point, as an intro to the game, what should one buy/play first?↧
