Thread: Star Wars: The Queen's Gambit:: Rules:: Line of Sight question

I've not played any other games with Line of Sight requirements so I'm guessing this might be more obvious to some.

The rules examples for LOS represent the obvious scenarios but to my eye at least there are plenty of scenarios that the rules could have provided more clarity on.

A) Is it as simple as drawing a line from the middle of Hex-A to middle of Hex-Z and if ANY PART of any other hex cuts that line then LOS is broken and therefore Hex-Z is unable to be attacked from Hex-A?

OR

B) Is it more complicated - i.e. drawing a line from the middle of Hex-A to middle of Hex-Z and the outer sliver of an in-between hex but not the majority including the MID-POINT of that in-between hex cuts that line then LOS exists and therefore Hex-Z is able to be attacked from Hex-A?

I suspect A is correct.

So in a longish-range dog-leg hex formation where you can see only a minority part of Hex-Z from the midpoint of the Hex-A that would NOT have LOS correct?

Apologies, this is quite tough to ask with words alone - i'd like to be able to use a diagram. But hopefully you get the intent of my question.
