Those are some good suggestions. One change I'd like to see is during combat against the adversary if you take a corruption you have to retreat. Being able to just tank 2 out of 5 of the cards makes the encounter feel anticlimactic. Since the cards you weaken will remain weakened, you're wearing down the adversary each fight, building up to that final confrontation when you can push for the win. I remember the first game I played, everyone was impressed with how good the game was, but at the end fell flat. Most games I've played the adversary goes down after 1 or 2 fights. Next time I play I'll probably try it as a house rule and see how it feels.↧
