Not sure what you mean about the [o]photograph[/o]; that came into the campaign for one game and then got put into the Tomb at the end of that game with no additional rules around it. Maybe it does different things depending on which Haunt you have for that chapter? For other means of rerolling, the [o]Helm[/o] is nearly filled with crests, so that's about to be done too. Even so, I'm reluctant to use a reroll when the Haunt roll is at five dice because it's likely to be a waste, and among us we find Omens fast enough that we get to five pretty quickly. I think last game we went around the table three times before the Haunt started? In that time I encountered two Events and one Omen.

I'm not too broken-hearted about the heirloom thing, it's just starting to feel like I'm less of an active participant in the story than the others. I'm around for stuff happening, but since I never have items, I'm not actually helping them to do the things we need to do. Unless we want me to take some skill checks at max 4 against things that are now requiring 4, 5, or more for success.
