In Pursuit Review:

Whelp... I saw this game did not have any reviews yet so... here goes

Do you hate Trivial Pursuit? If you do I doubt this game will change your mind about it. I picked this up for cheap, $1, and it turned out to be pretty good. Now you have to understand, my friends and I enjoy stupid trivia games and we'll play the least one every game night.

Pieces:
The bits are nice, not amazing, but not cheap either. The totems are pretty sturdy.

Gameplay:
First everyone draws totems to see what team they are on and for the leader of each team. On your turn you roll two dice and then do one of two things:
1. You ask a question to the other team, if they get it right, they move up one, if they get it wrong, your team moves up one.
2. You can Switch Teams or Challenger Your Leader. What's that you say? Do NOT be fooled by the team aspect, there is only ONE winner.

When you try to switch teams you ask a question to one player on the other team, (chosen by their leader) if they get it wrong you switch totems with them. When you challenge your team leader, you ask them a question, if they get it wrong you swap totems with them. Keep in mind every time you try to switch teams or challenge your leader, one of the teams will move a space, so the game moves fast.

You win by being the first leader to answer a question correctly on the finish space. This is harder than it sounds because the entire time the roll of leader keeps switching.

The Good:
-Plays fast.
-More up to date questions.

The Bad:
-Questions still use the terrible Who/What, Headlines, Wildcard, etc. categories.
-Endgame does not feel as intense as it should be.

The Verdict:
[BGCOLOR=#9F9F9F]Screw It[/BGCOLOR]|[BGCOLOR=#FFFF00][Meh][/BGCOLOR]|[BGCOLOR=#9F9F9F]Get It![/BGCOLOR] That's average, in case you couldn't tell. It's still a trivia game. The few times we've played ended with both teams reaching the finish, and the leadership changing hands every turn until someone got a question right. I would not recommend playing with less than six players, and eight is best.

Compared to:
Trivial Pursuit: 25th Anniversary Edition
[BGCOLOR=#009900][Better][/BGCOLOR] In Pursuit plays faster and everyone is involved even when it's not their turn.
