I recognize what you're saying on sometimes finding it surprisingly easy.[o]We beat November yesterday on the first try as well, and we've so far played the game with only three characters. I started with the Researcher and swapped to the Operations Expert in March (and have played it ever since as it works for Research Stations, Military Bases ánd Vaccine Factories) and my SO started with the Medic, which was the traitor and she now plays the Quarantine Specialist. We've given our characters the Co-worker relationship, Pilot & Local Connection upgrades, which makes for a very powerful combination - neither of us have got scars on our current characters, and of the 13 games we played we lost two.
We also made the point of whenever we eradicated a disease we'd pick the Game End Upgrade for that disease. We've now upgraded the diseases to the max, making our lives easier as well.
Now, luck comes into play too - we've had some chain outbreaks happen, and Lima went in 15 minutes from Level 2 Panic to Fallen - but if you choose your characters and upgrades wisely it does help significantly.[/o]
