Rubber Band AI is an entry in the 2020 Solomode contest.
The rules were mainly intended for the Mario Kart mod of DownForce but, it can work with the original game as well. The AI may seem basic but, finishing first isn't everything in DownForce, it's all about that money!
The rules are ready but it looks like they can't be released until February of 2021.
