Don't forget monsters can also climb up the Collapsed Room and Coal Chute. A lot of players tend to not realize this, and either wind up with the monster wandering around the basement aimlessly, or have the monster sneak up on them from behind. Monsters can also automatically find the Stairs from Basement only if there's no other way out of the basement, which includes the Secret Stairs and Secret Passage.↧
