Thank you for your review. As someone has already brought it up, I find the setup to Mansions of Madness adds to the madness of the game. Bahoth takes a lot less time. However there are two things that some may not have noticed about the two.

Bahoth needs 3 people. This knocks it out of the couples market and while it could in theory be played as a two person game, success after the haunt begins however decreases greatly with only one person. Mansions of madness is designed for 2 people to play though its difficulty is not the easiest with only the one.

I recently started playing MoM and a legendary player of bahoth having played it across multiple groups both traitor and player alike. Even started a pencil and paper group based loosely on bahoth (fun!). In my opinion the games are two different to say one is better then the other and are both awesome games. But I prefer a betrayal over descent into madness. Though... Trauma cards in Bahoth could be an interesting addition to the game...
